We are so glad that you are all "springing" into the next session with us at a record setting 510 gymnasts! Thanks again to all of our returning members for your continued support and a warm welcome to all of our new families.
The new Cangym program is working out very well for all athletes, parents and coaching staff. Everyone gets to look at what the skill should look like and the parents get to familiarize themselves with the terms and skill requirements as well to assist the child's understanding of what is considered a "mastered" skill.
For those gymnasts who are returning and did not receive a badge attached to your progress card, you must return the card so that the coach can continue evaluating the skills not yet mastered. Parents, please assist us in returning the cards as soon as possible.
The gym will be receiving a few new pieces of equipment in the near future, a new vault runway mat and a new landing mat, so please help the club by purchasing a ticket for the raffle, or buy a new handbag for yourself or someone special.
Information regarding summer programming will be available by the end of May.
Congratulations to coach Petra who was recently married in the Dominican Republic!
Our Gymfest group will be performing in Lethbridge in a month and their routine is just "too much flippin fun". We will have pictures on the website after the big event.
NEGC competitive gymnasts will be competing in Brooks, and we wish them all the best.
Please remember that my door is always open if you have questions or ideas, or would just like to chat. Keep on GYMING!!
