Klint Clark


Klint has two daughters at NEGC (Paige and Jordyn), one in each of the competitive and recreational programs. Klint is the Piping Design Department Manager for CoSyn Technology. He has worked for the parent company, Worley Parsons for 19 years. He has held several jobs from draftsman to project manager within that time span. Outside of work, Klint likes to stay busy; he attends university at night pursuing a degree in business management. He also enjoys playing competitive slo-pitch and recreational hockey. Klint can often be seen around the gym club doing general handyman duties or watching his girls train.

Tara Penney


Tara is the Past President-Elect and Fundraising Coordinator at NEGC. Her daughter Madison has been part of the recreational program for 8 years and her son Mason has been for 2 years. Tara likes to spend her free time with family and friends and taking her kids to various sports they are involved in. Tara is currently a stay at home mom and starting in March will be attending a medical office assistant program.

Catherine Minick


Catherine has joined the Board this year as a Member at Large. Catherine is a respiratory therapist and has a daughter in the competitive program.

Kristine Eaton


Kristine has  three daughters have been actively involved in NEGC’s recreational program for several years and have just recently joined the developmental and competitive programs. Kristine is a junior high school teacher who advocates for the importance of kids being involved, active and having a sense of belonging within their respective organizations and communities. She believes NEGC is a wonderful place for this to happen. In her spare time, Kristine enjoys running and being active.

Nicky Clark


Nicky has two daughters at NEGC (Paige and Jordyn), one in each of the competitive and recreational programs. 
Nicky is in Health and Safety at Royal Camp Services, where she has been employed for the last 10 years. She also has experience in human resources, were she started her career with Royal Camp. Outside of work, Nicky enjoys playing women’s and mixed competitive slo-pitch, attending several national finals in each. She has also managed teams and tournaments in the past, learning skills that are transferable to her current role as board member. She is often seen in the gym helping out with the day-to-day operations or watching her girls train.


Norm Leung


Norm has been a part of the NEGC family for the past 6 years. His daughter Emma started off in recreational program and has since transitioned into the competitive program. He is currently working as a general manager for Wendy's restaurants and has been working with them for 17 years. In his spare time he  likes to play golf, cycle, run, camp, and stay fit at the gym. Norm also enjoys cooking, and has a  dream of being a contestant on a cooking show.

Jennifer Weenk


Jennifer joined the NEGC Board of Directors three years and is now President-Elect. Jennifer’s daughter Justice joined NEGC five years ago starting in the recreational program and is now entering her fourth year of the competitive program. Jennifer is a Human Resource Director with the Government of Alberta and has experience leading projects, quality assurance initiatives, stakeholder engagement activities, and managing change initiatives.
